Nobody really famous, but when I was a kid and we’d go to Disneyland, I’d walk up to Minnie mouse with my autograph book and be like, “Excuse me, Ms. Minnie? would you please sign my book??”

That was a really big deal for me because I was very shy.

What’s the oldest piece of working technology in your home (record player, tape recorder, etc.)?
Well, the other day I was doing some cleaning, and I found my old Blackberry from 2007. I didn’t test it out, but I’m pretty sure it still works.

What’s one vital personal care product (cuticle oil, wet Ones Wipes, a particular hand cream, Purell, etc.) that you have to have with you when you travel?
I ALWAS have to have wet Ones Wipes with me. I am that freaky lady who wipes down her tray table on the plane, the armrests, and when I get to the hotel I give everything a once over.

I actually just did that right now, haha!

I am pro rhinestones on nails. I’m a strong supporter, but I do believe that they shouldn’t be a rhinestone free-for-all. I think it should be regulated rhinestones.

I don’t remember the name, but I can describe the shape (I have one by Sonia Kashuk and one from NARS). It’s an eyeshadow brush with an angled, wedge-shaped head. I only use it when all of my other eye brushes are dirty.

Are you much more cute or sultry?
Oh, gawd, certainly much more cute. I’m so not sultry… My friend Jen’s the sultry one.

Have you ever worked a job where you received tips?
I have, actually. I played flute in a handful of church performances back in high school that my band teacher arranged. He was a professional musician on the side and booked me for gigs he wasn’t able to make.

Yes, but they were always, like, trophies for participating. I got some for band things and piano recitals.

Yup, Charmie the bunny still lives with me, but many of my stuffed animals live with my parents. My mother is always threatening to get rid of them, but she never has (thank you, Mom!).

My stylist buddy Alis at Fox + stone salon has been raving about Oribe foundation mist for ages, but I decided I needed a bottle after I hair modeled (is that even a phrase? Hair modeled?) for that Oribe class at the salon a few weeks back.

Basically, it’s hair primer. Sprayed on wet or dry hair, it smooths the hair cuticle so that styling products apply more smooth and evenly. It also detangles, enhances shine and provides UV protection.

The effect is subtle…but it is noticeable and I dig it.

I mean, it’s not a dramatic, in-your-face difference that’s gonna make you go “WHOA!” when you see yourself in the mirror, but my hair is definitely shinier, less tangly and easier to style when I prep it with this. I also see a little more volume.

OK, U luxury color Protectant Hair Perfume in Bianca hasn’t officially made it on to my Hair Obsessions list yet because I just started using it, but I still think it’s worth mentioning because it’s kind of interesting and neat.

Hair perfume — just like the name says — but with UV protection. It has a citrusy grapefruit scent (you know I loves me some grapefruit), although I do have to say that when I first smelled it, the alcohol was very, very strong. It’s the first item listed on the ingredient list, so I hope it doesn’t dry out my mop.
